Holistic Wellness Retreat
Tigris Valley is a physician-led wellness retreat in the Western Ghats of Kerala — preventive care and rejuvenation for people whose work does not leave room for either. Self-care, here, has a plan. The valley is quiet enough to keep it.
2 to 14 nights · Physician-set, not a fixed package · 1,100m in the Western Ghats
A full life spends health in small amounts — sleep shortened, meals rushed, movement postponed, recovery treated as optional. A wellness retreat does not scold that life. It returns a concentrated stretch of the care the body has been missing, then sends you home able to keep some of it.
Uninterrupted rest, meals with a purpose, and therapies timed by a physician give the body a chance to refill what late nights and short weekends only borrow.
Mountain quiet, an earlier evening, and a schedule that treats the night as part of the programme. Many guests feel the difference before the stay is half done. Results vary.
Preventive wellness looks at digestion, inflammation, metabolic markers, and daily habits while they are still adjustable — not only after a crisis has already arrived.
The stay is the concentrated part. The point is the meals, movement, and recovery habits that still fit when the calendar fills again.
Self-care, here, is not an indulgence. It is structured time, given the same seriousness as the life it is meant to support.

Holistic wellness at Tigris Valley means the whole of how you are living is in the room: sleep, food, movement, recovery, and the medical picture underneath them. A weekend away can be pleasant and still leave all of that untouched.
Ayurveda, functional medicine, yoga, and modern diagnostics are not rival menus. They are one physician-led plan, sequenced for you, in one valley. The aim is preventive health and rejuvenation you can still recognise when you are home — steadier energy, better days, and a long view of your well-being.

30 acres · 1,100m · Western Ghats, Kerala
The stay begins with an assessment, not a brochure. Length, therapies, and meals follow what your doctor finds — then adjust as you respond.
Clinical review, history, diagnostics where they change the plan
Classical therapies chosen for your constitution: oil treatments, detox sequences when indicated, and a pace that restores rather than exhausts.
Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Panchakarma when prescribed
Where a marker would change the advice — inflammation, nutrients, metabolic health, digestion — it is measured, explained in plain language, and built into the days.
Targeted labs, physician review, a meal plan with a reason
Daily yoga and breath practice matched to your capacity. No performance. The work is circulation, strength, and a body that can settle.
Yoga, pranayama, guided practice for every level
The kitchen cooks to the physician’s guidance. Meals are nourishing and specific, not a buffet you have to navigate while you are trying to rest.
Chef-prepared, physician-set, satisfying rather than punitive
The last conversations are about the life you return to: what to keep, what to watch, and when to speak to us again.
Written home protocol, follow-up with your treating doctor
A meaningful wellness retreat, rather than a vacation with a treatment list attached. The work can be demanding. The stay should not be noisy.
Guests who recognise themselves here:
You do not need a diagnosis to begin. The consultation exists to decide whether a stay is the right use of your time — and to tell you honestly if it is not.
Moments people choose to come:
Before a demanding season
Arrive with capacity rather than spending the season on what is left of it. A short, physician-set stay can restore sleep and routine before the work asks for both.
After a long stretch
Travel, late nights, and months without a real pause show up as low energy, heavier digestion, and sleep that no longer repairs. This is the moment a retreat earns its place.
While you are still well
Preventive wellness is the quieter reason to come. A review of habits, markers, and recovery — before a symptom has to make the argument for you.
When you want rejuvenation, not a tour
If you want the valley, the food, and the quiet, and you also want a doctor to decide what your days are for, you are in the right conversation.

Your programme draws from the following. The physician selects and sequences what belongs to you, including a supervised detox when rejuvenation calls for one, and changes the plan as you respond.
A synchronised full-body oil massage. Warmth, circulation, and the particular relief of a body that has been carrying itself for too long.
Daily or on alternate days, as your physician sets.
A slow, continuous stream of warm oil across the forehead. Used here for deep rest and a quieter evening — guests often sleep on the table.
Usually scheduled later in the day, when the point is to settle.
A supervised detox sequence: clearing, then rebuilding. Lightness, digestion, and energy are the aims, at an intensity matched to you.
Prescribed only when it belongs in your plan. Not a default.
Morning movement and breath, taught to your level. The daily practice that makes the rest of the programme easier to keep.
No experience required. Groups are separated by capacity.
Meals cooked to the protocol — steady, satisfying, and specific. Food is how a wellness stay continues between therapies.
Set by the physician and the kitchen together.
Labs where a number would change the advice: inflammation, nutrients, metabolic health, digestion. Reviewed with you in plain language.
Ordered when indicated. Not a panel for its own sake.
Thirty acres of Western Ghats forest at 1,100 metres. Clean air, unhurried paths, and a night that is actually dark.
Rest is prescribed. It is not the gap between appointments.
The last piece of the stay: what to continue, what to watch, and a follow-up so the plan meets the life you actually live.
You leave with writing, not a memory of a nice week.
Programmes run from a 2-night reset to a 14-night rejuvenation. The shape below is how the days are organised — your physician decides how much of it you need.
Days 1–2
Focus: Physician evaluation, a first reading of sleep, energy, and digestion, and the therapies that can begin at once
The pace drops on purpose. Your doctor meets you in person and writes the stay around what they find, not around a package name.
The heart of a shorter stay
Focus: Daily therapies, protocol meals, yoga, and nights that are left alone
This is where guests usually notice sleep and energy shifting. The work is repetitive in the best sense: the same caring rhythm, every day.
When the stay runs longer
Focus: Detox if it has been prescribed, a functional-medicine review, and habits practised inside the programme rather than promised for later
A 7- to 14-night stay has room for change you can feel and a routine you have already rehearsed.
Final days
Focus: A discharge conversation, a written home protocol, and an honest account of what helped
You leave knowing what was found, what to continue, and what to ignore. The valley does not come with you. The plan does.
Follow-up
Focus: A check on how the protocol meets real weeks, and adjustments if it does not
A video consultation with the treating doctor. The stay was the concentrated part. This is where it meets your actual life.
Length: Two nights for a rapid recalibration. Five nights when you want assessment, therapies, and a rhythm to settle. Up to fourteen nights when rejuvenation — including a supervised detox — needs the time. Outcomes vary by person. Your doctor will say which length is honest for you.

Clinical care
Your stay is held by doctors across Ayurveda, Unani, and functional medicine. The plan is written by people who will see you. It is reviewed across disciplines, not passed between them.

Guests, in their own words
Published with permission, as they said it. These are accounts of a stay — the rooms, the valley, the therapies — not a promise of a medical result.
Fantastic wellness retreat — the rooms, the service, the surrounding with nature. It's really peace for soul and mind. The oil massage was really good for my body, to bring out the toxins and make my muscles soft.
I had the pleasure to come to Tigris Valley to know this beautiful place — beautiful architecture and facilities for Ayurvedic treatments, massages, and yoga. The rooms are very comfortable, the food is very good, and the treatment I received from the staff is excellent.
We were blown away by the greenery. The staff here is really courteous, always smiling. This is one of the best massages we've had.

The practical questions guests ask before they give us a name and a number.
A physician sets the length of your stay, the therapies, and the meals. You are not choosing treatments from a spa menu between excursions. The valley is quiet and the rooms are comfortable; the point of the days is your health, and you leave with a written plan for ordinary life.
No. Guests come for preventive care, a planned recovery after a demanding season, or a rejuvenation they have postponed while work stayed loud. If a residential stay is not the right next step, the consultation will say so.
A care coordinator contacts you within 24 hours, by WhatsApp or phone. A physician reviews your enquiry before any programme is suggested. The conversation is free, confidential, and carries no obligation to book.
Yes. Arrivals, rooms, and the daily schedule are handled discreetly. What you discuss with your care team stays with them. Guest words are published only with permission, and photographs of guests are not used.
It can, when your physician believes detox belongs in the plan. It is supervised, paced to you, and set inside a wider wellness programme — nourishment, rest, movement, and diagnostics — rather than a cleanse you attempt alone.
Cost depends on the length of stay, the room, and the therapies your physician recommends. You receive a written estimate before you commit to anything. The consultation itself is free, and the estimate is the price — not a starting point for later surprises.
Stays run from 2 to 14 nights. A short reset can restore sleep and routine. A longer stay is for deeper rejuvenation, including detox when it is indicated. After the consultation, your physician recommends a length. You do not have to decide it on this page.
Yes. With your consent, our doctors share assessment findings with the physician who already looks after you. Bring their details to the consultation if you would like that channel opened early.
Results vary, and none are guaranteed. What the stay offers is concentrated and specific: an assessment, therapies chosen for you, food that follows the plan, daily movement, and protected rest — then a protocol you can keep. After the first evaluation, your doctor will say plainly what they believe the stay can and cannot do.
Tell us what you would like this time to restore. A coordinator replies within 24 hours. A physician looks at the enquiry before any stay is suggested — and will say if Tigris Valley is not the right fit.
