Fatigue That Sleep Doesn't Fix
You sleep seven or eight hours and still wake up heavy. Afternoons crash hard. Blood tests keep coming back 'normal'.
"I thought it was just ageing. It was my body fighting something I couldn't see."
Pain, Inflammation & Recovery Programme
Persistent, low-grade inflammation quietly drives fatigue, joint pain, gut trouble and metabolic disease. We find what is driving yours — and treat it with diagnostics, Ayurveda, Functional Medicine and naturopathy in the Western Ghats.

Where do you feel it?
How Common
Occasional inflammation is how the body heals. The problem is inflammation that never switches off — the kind that simmers for years, shows up as vague symptoms, and quietly becomes the soil where chronic disease grows. The numbers make the scale hard to ignore.
3 in 5
deaths worldwide are linked to chronic inflammatory diseases — stroke, heart disease, cancer, diabetes

74%
of all deaths globally come from noncommunicable diseases, where chronic inflammation is a shared driver

80%
of premature heart disease, stroke and type-2 diabetes is preventable — proof the driver is reversible

Processed food, blood-sugar swings, inactivity and excess body fat all sustain a low-grade inflammatory loop.
Chronic psychological stress and broken sleep keep cortisol elevated, which keeps inflammatory markers raised.
Dysbiosis, food sensitivities and unresolved immune activation smoulder quietly for years before diagnosis.
Self Check
Tick every symptom you have experienced regularly in the last six months. This is not a diagnosis — it is a fast way to see whether your pattern is worth discussing with a doctor.
Note: This self-check is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Symptoms
These symptoms rarely arrive together, and rarely get named as one problem. Recognising the pattern is what allows us to plan a treatment that addresses the cause instead of chasing each symptom separately.

"I thought it was just ageing. It was my body fighting something I couldn't see."
Morning stiffness lasting more than 30 minutes, joints that puff up after meals, muscles that stay sore without training.
"The pain moved around — one week the knee, the next the hands. Nobody connected it."
Bloating, IBS-type swings, reflux, and a growing list of foods that seem to 'not agree with you' anymore.
"I had cut out six foods by the time someone finally looked at my gut, not just my plate."
Words go missing mid-sentence. Concentration frays by noon. Anxiety or low mood creeps in without a clear reason.
"I could run a company but couldn't finish a paragraph. That's when I knew something was off."
Eczema, psoriasis, acne or rashes that worsen with stress or certain foods — often the first visible signal.
"Every dermatologist treated the skin. Nothing touched the cause."
Especially around the waist, stubbornly resistant to diet and exercise — a classic sign of metabolic inflammation.
"I was doing everything right and still gaining. My inflammation markers explained why."
Root Causes
Chronic inflammation is rarely caused by one thing. Physical, metabolic and lifestyle factors usually overlap — which is why identifying them accurately matters before any treatment plan is drawn up.
Blood-sugar swings and excess visceral fat are among the strongest drivers of persistent low-grade inflammation.
Fat stored around the organs behaves like an endocrine organ, releasing inflammatory cytokines continuously.
An imbalanced microbiome and a 'leaky' gut let bacterial fragments into circulation, keeping the immune system activated.
Autoimmune tendencies, chronic infections and hidden food sensitivities can keep inflammation smouldering for years.
Elevated cortisol and broken sleep directly raise CRP and other inflammatory markers — and blunt every other intervention.
Ultra-processed food, alcohol, smoking, sedentary hours and environmental toxin load compound the daily inflammatory input.
Our Approach
Most clinics treat inflammation as a single number on a lab report. We treat it as a whole-body pattern — combining modern diagnostics with Ayurveda, Functional Medicine and naturopathy to address the physical, metabolic and lifestyle factors behind it.
Doctor-led assessment with inflammatory markers (hs-CRP), metabolic and gut panels — diagnosis before treatment, always.
No two guests receive the same plan. Your protocol is built around your diagnostics, history, and how your body responds.

Treatment Journey
A step-by-step, doctor-led path — from first investigation to sustained results after you go home.
Step 1
Initial consultation: 45–60 minutes
A detailed history and examination, plus targeted testing — inflammatory markers (hs-CRP), metabolic panel, vitamin and hormone status, and gut analysis where indicated. Ayurvedic prakriti assessment runs in parallel.
Step 2
Plan presented within 48 hours of results
Your doctor builds a plan that targets your specific drivers — nutrition and gut repair, Ayurvedic therapies, movement, stress regulation and supplementation, sequenced in the right order.
Step 3
Residential stay: 7–14 nights
Daily supervised therapies — Panchakarma and Ayurvedic treatments, yoga and naturopathy, physiotherapy where needed — inside a controlled environment of clean food, rest and silence.
Step 4
Follow-up at 30 & 90 days
You leave with a written home programme, and we re-test inflammatory markers where appropriate. Follow-up consultations keep the gains from sliding back.
Recommended minimum stay: For meaningful change in inflammatory markers we recommend a minimum of 7 nights, with 14 nights the standard protocol. Our doctors will advise based on your diagnostics and goals.
Success Stories
Real stays, shared from tigrisvalley.com/testimonials. Outcomes vary by condition, duration and individual response.
“My mom had neck pain and hand pain because of a muscle tear. We didn't have much results with treatments before, but after one week at Tigris Valley we saw initial results — now she has a smile on her face.”
“I came here for treatment — I had a stroke. Thank God, I was cured. Every day I did exercises, massages, and natural treatments. The treatments were very good.”
“Fantastic hotel — the rooms, the service, the surrounding with nature. It's really peace for soul and mind. The oil massage was really good for my body, to bring out the toxins and make my muscles soft.”
FAQs
Your doctor starts with a detailed history, then bloodwork that includes inflammatory markers such as high-sensitivity CRP, along with metabolic and gut panels where indicated. This is combined with an Ayurvedic assessment so we can see the same problem through both systems before any therapy is prescribed.
Your protocol can include clinical nutrition and gut repair, Panchakarma and Ayurvedic therapies, yoga and naturopathy, targeted supplementation, stress and sleep regulation, and modern medicine review. Exactly which combination you receive depends on your diagnostics — no two protocols are the same.
Timelines vary with the cause and how long it has been building. Many guests report better sleep and energy within the first week of residential care; biomarkers are usually re-assessed towards the end of the programme so you leave knowing what changed, not just how you feel.
You can begin with an online OPD consultation with one of our doctors. Most guests then move to a residential stay of 7–14 nights, because the combination of daily therapies, controlled diet and rest is what produces results that hold after you go home.
No. We work alongside your current prescriptions. If changes are appropriate, your doctor will discuss them with you explicitly and, where needed, coordinate with your treating physician. Never stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Cost depends on the length of stay, the diagnostics ordered and the therapies prescribed. We give you a transparent, itemised estimate after your initial consultation — there are no surprise additions mid-stay.
